Scott Buschman was born and raised in San Francisco. As a teenager, Scott learned to develop film and print photos in his family darkroom. After graduating from San Francisco State University, he worked as a photojournalist in the Bay Area for 15 years before starting his own portrait and event photography business. Over the past 20 years, Scott’s clients have ranged from biotech companies and banks, to non profits and real estate offices. He also does photography for city and county government officials, as well as local police departments and the Superior Court Judges of San Mateo County.
Scott Buschman’s work appears in books, magazines, and websites, as well as on the walls of local City Halls and the San Mateo County Courthouse. Subjects have included sports legends Joe Montana and Willie Mays, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty, and actors Robin Williams, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Lou Diamond Philips.
